Building Process
Initially the build went quite smoothly. By the end of the first day, we had a plane with all the electronics and parts mounted. However, issues quickly arose when our landing gear was broken and the propeller broke when it took a nosedive. We learned that quickly building the plane was not the optimal way for the smoothest flight. After retrying and retrying to get the base plane to fly while facing issues like a backwards wing, flimsy control rods, and center of mass issues, we finally decided to overhaul it. We rebuilt one of the wings and used beefy copper wire for the landing gear and stiff steel wires for the control surfaces. With these new upgrades, the plane was able to gain some altitude.
