Building Process
To build this, I had to carefully open the power supply, cut the wires and sort them into their respective voltages. I took the standby wire to power the green led and a 5v wire to power the red led. I also soldered on a 230Ω resistor to each light to ensure the leds would not burn out. I then had to attach a dummy load resistor of 10Ω to a 5v wire to ensure the power supply does not automatically shut down. I then soldered on the on and off switch to the pso wire. Once that was all done, I soldered the wires to their respective binding posts and attached the voltmeter to the ground wire. Unfortunately, the voltmeter did not function, but everything else works as intended.
